Experience
Ms. Mitchell is a civil litigation attorney whose practice focuses on municipal litigation, including First Amendment claims, employment discrimination, federal civil rights litigation, general tort liability, construction-defect litigation, insurance coverage disputes, and contractual claims. Ms. Mitchell represents clients in complex, high-exposure matters and routinely handles all phases of litigation, including motion practice, discovery, and strategic case development.
Ms. Mitchell earned her Bachelor of Arts in Sociology, cum laude, from Florida Atlantic University. She thereafter obtained her Juris Doctor from Nova Southeastern University Shepard Broad College of Law, with a concentration in Intellectual Property, Cybersecurity, and Information Privacy. While in law school, Ms. Mitchell held leadership positions in multiple student organizations, including serving as President of both the Sports and Entertainment Law Society and the Lambda Law Society. She is admitted to practice in Florida and has passed the New York Bar.
