Michael Piper is a veteran trial lawyer whose practice has emphasized the defense of local governments, law enforcement agencies, and their officers and employees in tort, employment discrimination, and civil rights claims – in both federal and state courts – since 1987. Mr. Piper also has extensive appellate court experience at all levels and has had numerous reported decisions, including Town of Sewall’s Point vs. Rhodes, 852 So.2d 949 (Fla. 4th DCA 2003), and McCabe v. Sharrett and the City of Plantation, 12 F.3d 1558 (11th Cir. 1994). Mr. Piper is Board Certified in Civil Trial Law and is AV rated by Martindale-Hubbell.
