David M. Schweiger

Experience

David Schweiger earned his undergraduate degree in Finance from Temple University and his law degree from Nova Southeastern University. He has been practicing law for more than 29 years.

Mr. Schweiger brings broad civil trial experience to his practice. He focuses on defending workers’ compensation claims and personal injury claims involving municipalities, other governmental entities  and private-sector employers.

His experience also includes representing injured workers in workers’ compensation matters. This background gives him practical insight into the interests and strategies of injured workers, employers, and carriers.

Mr. Schweiger handles all aspects of workers’ compensation litigation. He has significant trial and appellate experience involving Florida’s workers’ compensation presumption law, post-traumatic stress disorder claims, occupational disease claims, and other matters unique to public-sector employment.

He is a member of The Florida Bar and the Broward County Bar Association. He is also a Florida Supreme Court Certified Circuit Mediator.
